Use all tools at your disposal to grow your chatbot audience

A bot needs an audience because we don’t want it to fall idle and get lonely 😊. That would be a total waste of a great tool!

Luckily for us (and the bot?) there are many ways to grow the user base of Messenger bots. Here are the most successful tools we know.

1. Buttons

Copy a simple piece of code into your website and a button will appear. Once clicked, the user will be redirected to and start the conversation.
It’s possible to change color, size and appearance of these buttons.

2. Landing pages

Your bot platform or agency will be able to provide you with a free basic landing page that can draw visitors to your bot flow. Bots can be triggered from custom landing pages such as Clickfunnels, Activecampaign and similar sites as well.

3. Customer Chat plugin

Possibly the most powerful tool for growing your bot. Customer Chat is the name for a chat bubble that can be made to appear on ANY website. Just copy and paste a few lines of code into your page footer and voilà: you have a chat window on your page. It isn’t one of those lame, unresponsive chat windows that you so often see on business pages now. No, this is the entrance to your pre-configured bot with Natural Language Processing AND a pre-set flow, that will engage, build trust and sell for you on auto-pilot.

4. Facebook comments

Facebook users who comment on your post can automatically be subscribed to a bot flow. It’s really that simple! Just set up an interesting FB post, ask users to comment if they want a reward, and see what happens. It’s easy to set up, too.

5.  Facebook ads

A well-known tool for growing your Facebook Pages and getting link clicks, and now you can add users to your bot flow when they click the ad. A great way to add more engagement to your promotion!
